We're a local MAG group that support MAG UK through raising awareness of biking issues, putting on events and raising funds to keep the future of motorcycling safe.
If you enjoy your freedom to ride and you're not a MAG member then come down and see what we're all about. Likewise if you're currently a MAG member but don't attend a local meeting, come down and talk to us.
To join MAG you can talk to any of the committee or members at our regular Wednesday meetings where we will try an have membership forms available, or you can join online at the main MAG website by following this link.
Rep's Report:-
After an eventful AGM, it seems that I have become the new local rep for Huddersfield. I've been on the committee before, but this is the first time as rep. We have some new faces on the committee, along with those who keep on coming back. I'm sure the girls will keep me in check!
It's quite a busy time from an activist point of view with the EU proposals needing action to stop our rights to choose what we ride from being eroded. There will be plenty of campaigning and a few demo runs about this over the coming months.
MAG needs members to get involved to protect the right to ride. We always need suggestions for further fundraising for the fighting funds, and input about ride outs, events and all biking related activity.
I hope the weather holds out for this summer and we can all get out on the roads on the bikes and enjoy carefree riding on our two (three, if you must) wheeled motorised vehicles - even if your bike has an oil leak like mine!
